Recycled Candle

Last weekend I found myself in my apartment with an empty beer bottle and a lot of burning candles. After pouring a bit of hot wax into the empty beer bottle, I dropped in a piece of string for a wick. I continued pouring wax from lit candles throughout the night and the following week. Little by little I filled the bottle to the top.

Breaking the glass to get the candle out required some careful hammer tapping at the curb outside my apartment, but it was worth it.
